Whether you are a venue manager looking for regular evening entertainment, a social group with a celebration coming up, or a professional organisation looking to team-build, Third Element Theatre can provide Murder Mystery events that go above and beyond what you might expect.
We use professional actors and musicians, immersive background music, scripts and scenarios honed and developed over 25 years, and plenty of tantalising clues for groups to work with.
In short, our Murder Mysteries are excellent quality, fabulously fun and memorable events for everyone concerned.
We have over thirty regular Mysteries to choose from with different themes and set in different eras, so there really is something for everyone. We can also adapt them or devise new bespoke Mysteries to suit your individual requests.
Here are just six examples of the mysteries we offer, which give you a flavour of our work:
An Invitation to Murder
Peter’s money bought him friends, but now he’s feeling used and betrayed by those closest to him. He holds a party for everyone who’s taken advantage of him and informs them he’s donating everything he has to a Donkey Sanctuary – oh and the wedding’s off! This party would be his last.
Everyone has motive – jealousy, bitterness, thwarted plans and unrequited love, but only our savvy sleuths will uncover the true culprit.
Death of a Rock Star
Drummond Cymbal tops the charts and is about to conquer the U.S.A! The world is his oyster, but all is not well. Drummond just wants to settle down with the love of his life, Penny Street. But a jealous twin, a ruthless agent and a secret passion all lurk in the background.
At a photo shoot, the star collapses, fitting and choking on a substance he has inhaled. Is this the end for Drummond? Who is responsible? Indeed, is all necessarily as it seems?
The Dishonourable Member
Tormented by the murder of her dear friend, Sir Peter Chartwell of the Civil Service, Agatha has relentlessly pondered the crime and thinks she has solved it. She seeks to unmask the killer in this, her latest crime ‘fiction’. A powerful tale of the worst elements of human behaviour.
During a break at a preview recitation Agatha is murdered to prevent her unmasking Sir Peter’s killer. Who was it and why?
French detective, Maurice du Toit, needs some fellow sleuths to help him bring the culprit to justice!
Oh no, you didn’t!
Geraldine Rinch, disappointed local hack, has been invited to sit in on a dress rehearsal of the St Uffing village pantomime, and could not be more scathing!
Shortly after leaving, Geraldine is found dead, a stiletto heel impaled through her eye.
Our fearless detective, Nicola Saint, unmasks a secret that connects them all to a ruthless campaign of blackmail, orchestrated by the victim! Our suspects all had the means and the motive, but who could have done it? Not all is as it seems amid the chaos of amateur panto…
A Step too Far
Dick Tator, head of St Trinity’s School for Young Ladies, is dead, found at the bottom of the grand staircase. He liked to believe he was ‘firm but fair’. He was in reality a bully, a blackmailer, a target of blackmail, a cuckhold and a seducer of sixth formers.
A post-mortem revealed that Dick did not slip…
Dick’s wife, teachers, former pupils and an illegitimate grandson are all under suspicion, but which one of them actually rid the world of the odious Dick Tator?
Hetty’s Last Day
Hetty, the elderly matriarch, has a secret. She is the latest guardian of the famous Tennov diamonds, once the property of Tsar Nicholas II. Her health deteriorating rapidly, it’s a secret she can’t keep any longer.
A toxic cocktail of morally bankrupt relatives, a spiv, a faithful retainer fearing for her future, failing family fortunes, scandalous love affairs and pure old-fashioned greed, combine to make it inevitable that Hetty would not be allowed to live out her days.
Which of our sleuths can work out the puzzle, and deliver justice for Hetty?
